Pas de grosse surprise cette année. La shortlist des meilleurs romans (SF et Fantasy) contient les noms d'habitués (Banks, Stross, Bear, Haldeman, Le Guin et Wolfe) alors que dans la catégorie novellette, on retrouve la nouvelle de John Kessel, le récent prix Nebula 2009.
